Port Blair, Apr 29: State Child Protection Society (SCPS) under Directorate of Social Welfare, in collaboration with Makruzz Pvt. Ltd., orchestrated a remarkable Educational Tour at Swaraj Deep Island (Havelock Island), for 50 children from three different Child Care Institutions (CCIs). This insightful initiative aimed to provide underprivileged children with a unique learning experience amidst the scenic beauty of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The tour started with a heartfelt welcome address by Mr. AK Biswas, Nodal Officer (SCPS), who extended warm wishes to all participants. He also conveyed his gratitude to the Director of Social Welfare and Mr. Mohammed H Jadwet, and his team who went to see of the children in the early hours at Haddo jetty and entire arrangement of transport and food was also arranged by Makruzz pvt., and also significant contributions to making this educative journey possible.
Dr. Nitin Shakya, Director (Social Welfare), expressed gratitude to the owner of Makruzz Pvt. Ltd for this support and also encouraged the children to fully immerse themselves in the experience, absorb knowledge about nature, and enjoy the various activities planned for them.
The children embarked on their journey from Haddo Jetty, which led them to the breathtaking Radhanagar Beach, where they engaged in various activities designed to enhance their experience and learning.
Miss. Sushmita Mandal, child from Love Child Home (CCI), shared her exhilarating experience, highlighting the joy and knowledge gained during this educational tour. Her testimony serves as a beacon of the positive impact such experiences can foster in the lives of young minds, she also expressed that it was their dream to traveling in Makruzz Pvt. which has been fulfilled by this trip.
The Educational Tour concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. PK Mohammed, In charge of Darusallam Yathem Khana, expressing appreciation to the Directorate of Social Welfare and Makruzz Pvt. Ltd. for their efforts in organizing this educational excursion for the children.
