Port Blair, Mar 06: The Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad South Andaman, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, laid foundation stone of the Work “Renovation of CC road from Mr. Mani Mistry house to Anganwadi at Tushnabad Ward No. 02 by Zilla parishad ” at Tushnabad today on 05.03.2024 in presence of Mr. Boominathan, Up-Adhyaksh, ZPSA, Ms. Rajni, Zilla Parishad Member, other ZPMs and members of the PRIs and local people.
Gracing the occasion, the Adhyaksh, ZPSA stated that the prime mandate of Zilla Parishad, South Andaman has been development of the rural areas of South Andaman and to achieve this end, various works/projects have been sanctioned kin the past one year. The CC road is being utilized by about 20 households of the area, renovation of which will be taken up in a time bound manner which would ease the movement of commuters.
The General public and PRIs appreciated and expressed their gratitude to the Zilla Parishad for the proposed works.
