Port Blair, Mar. 3:Under RCH Programme, a Mini RCH (Reproductive and Child Health) Camp was organised at Mannarghat Community Hall, under the jurisdiction of PHC Wimberlygunj on 29th February, 2024 by Union Territory Health Mission (UTHM) in association with Directorate of Health Services, A&N Administration and ANIIMS. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Avijit Roy, Joint Secretary (RCH-II), Smti. Sajida Banu, Pradhan GP Mannarghat, other PRI members and Dr. K.P Felicitus, CMO, PHC Wimberlygunj.
During the camp, Dr. Shirley, LMO, Dept. of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Dr. Reema Dakua, Senior Resident, Dept. of Paediatrics, Dr. Sony Anjali, Junior Resident, ENT, ANIIMS, Dr. Farheen Kamil, GDMO Dental and Ms. Shabnam Begum, Psychiatric Social Worker, GBPH rendered their services.
About 64 patients were examined and provided medicines. Few patients were referred to G.B Pant Hospital for further treatment. The patients were also screened for diabetes and hypertension.
