Diglipur, March 03: The fixing of Minimum reference Circle Rate for purpose of effecting transfer of interest in land/immovable property by way of conveyance/gift/exchange etc in various areas of the Union Territory of A & N Islands which has come into effect now after the recent order from the Secretariat, A & N Administration has been welcomed by the stakeholders and a large section of populace of these islands with a positive gesture.
According to information, in absence of the Minimum reference Circle Rate of land in various areas of the Union Territory of A & N Islands, the stakeholders were not in a position to reportedly dispose of their land in order to meet their financial crisis/requirement and to counter other constraints. People are now happy that they may be able to transfer of interest in their respective land/immovable property by way of conveyance/gift/exchange with ease and eliminate the impediment they had to face.
Meanwhile, talking to Andaman Sheekha Daily, a number of land owners of Diglipur Tehsil said that the A & N Administration should also take initiatives to resume the diversion of land (House Site & Commercial etc) with utmost priority as they are not in a condition to build their houses despite having their own land. The unemployed aspirants intending to set up business establishments, on the other hand, are being severely affected due to the cessation of diversion of land in commercial, they further argued.
It has been a couple of years since the diversion of land to House Site & Commercial Site was pigeonholed.
Interestingly, the Circle Rate were announced only a few days after the Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma requested the Lt. Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands to Finalize Circle Rate for VS Palli and Sita Nagar Villages of North Andaman region.
Earlier, Andaman Sheekha Daily had also carried news articles on these two matters an umpteen times and the Administration’s fixing the Minimum reference Circle Rate for land is undeniably an impact of the daily’s articles.
