Port Blair, Jan 24: Akashvani, Port Blair will broadcast President Mrs. Draupadi Murmu’s address to the Nation on the eve of Republic Day at 7 PM on 25th January 2024.
A special “Sarva Bhasha Kavi Sammelan” originated from AIR Delhi will also be relayed from 2200 to 2400 hrs on 25th January 2024.
On 26th January 2024 from 0830 AM onwards Akashvani, Port Blair will Broadcast LIVE the Flag Unfurling Ceremony and Address to the Islanders by Lieutenant Governor Admiral D. K. Joshi from Marina Park Road. The Commentators will be Mr. Zakir Hussain, Sr. Gr. Announcer, Sonia Kumari and Aman Das. From 9.40 AM onwards there will be relay of the Republic Day Parade and the Cultural Pageant from Kartavya Path and National War Memorial, New Delhi.
