Port Blair, Jan 11: As people are aware that Viksit Bharat @2047 is the vision of the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi to make India a developed nation by the 100th year of its independence in 2047. The vision encompasses various aspects of development, including economic growth, social progress, environmental sustainability and good governance. The youth of India are playing a key role in realizing this vision. They are the largest demographic group in India, and they are full of potential and energy. The government has launched a number of initiatives to engage the youth in the development process, including the Ideas from Youth for Viksit Bharat@2047 campaign.
With the aim to give a platform for youth from all sections of the society to share their ideas on how to make India a developed nation and realize the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047 Declamation Contest
Nehru Yuva Kendra, Diglipur has organized Dist. Level Declamation Contest on 10th Jan. 2024 at Subhashgram Panchayat Hall. Mr. Dipankar Mistry, Pramukh Panchayat Samity Diglipur has inaugurated the programme and he has encouraged the participants to take part in these types of competitions. Mr. P.R. Singaram, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Subashgram has attended the programme as the Guest of honor. During his speech he has blessed all the participants. All together 19 (3 Male and 16 Female) youth participated in the competition in which Kumari Anamika Das, Mr. Sagar Mondal and Mr. J. Mahesh secured the 1st, 2nd & 3rd position respectively.
The programme was concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by the Deputy Director (OSD), Nehru Yuva Kendra Diglipur.
