A & N Administration Reschedules Trade/Skill Tests for Southern Islands’ Candidates

Port Blair, Jan. 3: The A & N Administration had issued a Press Release in the Daily Telegrams dated 28.12.2023 to attend the Trade/Skill Tests for the vacancies for which the written examination was held on 09.07.2023 for the Common Category of Group C Matric Level posts of different Departments under the A & N Administration. However, in this regard, a request received from the Deputy Commissioner, Car Nicobar, mentioning that due to non availability of Ships/Helicopters from the Southern Groups of Islands, the shortlisted candidates were unable to attend the Trade/Skill Tests at Port Blair within the stipulated date and time. Keeping in view of the circumstances, the A & N Administration has decided to conduct the Trade/Skill Tests for the shortlisted candidates of Southern Groups of Islands from 06.1.2024 to 08.01.2024. The details are as under:

In case of any information related to the Trade/Skill Test, the candidate may contact the Assistant Secretary (R&E), A & N Administration in person and also seek clarification on Telephone No.03192-236637/239045 between 10 am & 5 pm.

Note for candidates: The score list generated by the Staff Selection Commission does not confer to the candidates any right of appointment / selection to the notified/ preferred post. The rank of the candidates which appears in the score list does not necessarily reflect in the final selection. The Final Result is also subject to verification of documents (in original) and qualifying the Skill/Trade/Physical Endurance Test (whichever is applicable) & eligibility in terms of vacancy notice dated 29.04.2023. Moreover, this will not confirm them any right to claim for their candidature for Select/Reserve Panel of waitlist.
