Port Blair, Jan 02: National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) being a national level disaster response agency placed in IRBn campus at Port Mout is conducting awareness programs to various Govt Agencies and other stakeholders in ANI for making ANI more disaster resilient.
As fire fighters and fire mitras are the first responders in every disaster event, it is very important to build and improve their capacities so that they can respond efficiently. As an initiative an orientation cum capacity building program to the firefighters and fire mitras attached to fire station Ferrargunj, South Andaman was organised on 30.12.2023.
