Port Blair, Feb 03: The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence (SCOD) headed by Mr. Raj Babbar, Chairman, Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence accompanied by 11 Members of Parliament are on a visit to Andaman and Nicobar Command from 02 Feb to 04 Feb 13.
During their visit to HQ ANC and other military establishments under HQ ANC the delegation was briefed by Air Marshal PK Roy, AVSM, VM, VSM, CINCAN on various strategic and developmental aspects of the Islands. They were also briefed about the welfare measures being undertaken by ANC like medical, education and stress management. The delegation also visited Floating Dock Navy.
