Port Blair, Feb 03: The PCC President Kuldeep Rai Sharma has once again requested to the Lt Governor to review his previous requests on enhancement of widow, Physically handicapped and elderly pensions from Rs. 1000/- per month to Rs 3000/- per month.
In his letter, the PCC President has drawn the attention of the Administrator to the fact that in these hard days it is not at all possible to meet monthly expenditure with such a small amount and these people find them very hapless.
Sharma has requested for early consideration of enhancement of various pension schemes to the Administrator and hoped to get positive consideration.
