We are deeply saddened to hear about the sad demise of Mr. Bhagat Singh, Chairman, A&N State Cooperative Bank & Father of Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, A&N Islands who passed away on 27th Oct, 2023 at Hyberabad.
Late. Bhagat Singh was very instrumental & contributed immensely towards the development of the Electricity Department while he served as the SE of Electricity Department. Under his leadership, the Electricity Department entered into an era of unprecedented progress.
He was a man of great intellect & vision who provided jobs to many unemployed youths of A&N Islands.
We mourn the passing of a great son of Andaman & Nicobar Islands & a great human being who has left behind a powerful legacy of humility, simplicity & dedication.
On behalf of the Congress Party we stand with Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma & the entire family at this time of deep sorrow.
