Port Blair, Oct 22: The Inner wheel club of Port Blair District 329 organized a Beat Drugs with Sports for the students on 21st October 2023 at Netaji Stadium to promote participation in sports and to bring out the message of staying away from drugs by developing a healthy lifestyle.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Swami Shudhanand Chinmaya mission who flagged off the event. The athletic event for the girls was a 3km event from Stadium to Hotel Sinclair whereas it was a 5km athletic event for the boys from Stadium to Mazar.
The winners were felicitated with medals, trophies and certificates.
The winners of the event were as follows:-
Amongst the girls- Karthigai Rani (1st Position)
Anjali (2nd Position) and Silwanti Barla( 3rd Position)
Amongst the boys- Prasad (1st Position) Ajay (2nd position) Manoj Jena (3rd position)
Swami Shudhanand addressed the gathering in the presence of Charter President Inner Wheel club Mrs. Raj Mahajan , Club President 2023-24 Mrs. Bakhtawar Noble, Club Secretary Mrs. Komal Anand and the members of the Inner Wheel Club of Port Blair Dist. 329. The event concluded on a positive note.
