Port Blair, Oct 17: It is brought to the notice of the electricity consumers and general public that, to create safe corridors for electricity feeders and tie lines, the Electricity Department will exercise line clearance and pruning of dangerous trees on 18.10.2023 (Wednesday) between 0800 hrs. and 1400 hrs. So that the frequent power disruption and electricity faults can be prevented. During this exercise electricity supply of Carbyn’s cove junction to Goodwill estate upto Judges Bungalow, part of shiv colony Dollygunj, part of Lamba Line, part of Ranchi Basti and part of School Line areas shall be disrupted on 18.10.2023 from 0800 hrs. to 1400 hrs. for the safety of staff who shall be engaged in line clearance work. The general public is requested to support the team so that this exercise can be completed at earliest and power disruptions are minimized.
The above mentioned schedule is tentative, if the work is completed before the schedule line will be charged accordingly. The inconvenience caused is regretted.
