Port Blair, Oct 16: The Andaman Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee President Mr. Rangalal Halder has highlighted some pressing issues over the shortage of Healthcare Services in the Primary Health Centers of Hutbay and R.K Pur.
In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary, Mr. Halder said that the PHC in Little Andaman is currently operating without a dedicated watchman, Absence of Safai Karamchari, Absence of Laboratory & General Clinic (LGC) staff, Shortage of Lab Technicians and Lacks with Dialysis Machine and its Technician which poses a significant safety risk and hampers both the Medical staffs and the patients in the Medical Premises.
Mr. Halder stated that to equip the PHC with essential resources for providing life-saving treatment to patients as the health and well-being of the patients in Little Andaman depend on the effective functioning of the PHC and these issues cannot be overlooked.
He has further requested for immediate resolution in addressing these concerns and also for enhancing the Healthcare Services at the PHCs of Little Andaman.
