Port Blair, Oct 15: A meeting of the Hindi Consultative Committee was held at Swaraj Dweep yesterday under the chairmanship of Minister of State for Rural Development, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution GoI, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti. During the meeting, the Members of the Committee gave their valuable suggestions on progress and use of Official Language (Hindi). The work performance of the Ministry in implementation of Hindi was also reviewed.
The Minister directed all concerned Departments/ Public Sector Undertakings to maximize their work in Official Language (Hindi). She also assured the Members of the Committee to take appropriate action on the valuable suggestions provided by them.
