
Port Blair, Sep 25: Pankh Andaman NGO in collaboration with Chinmaya Mission on 23rd September organised a seminar cum debate on the topic “Are duties and responsibilities of youth obscured by rights” among various colleges of Port blair like ANCOL, Law college, JNRM, DBRAIT, ITI, DEIT, B.ed College were present in the seminar with a total of 120 participants. The Chief Guest for the event was Dr. Nitin Shakhya director Social Welfare department who also conveyed his thoughts and interacted with the students sharing his experiences and motivating them as well. Special guests for the event were Dr. Poonam Arora, Mrs. Sheela Singh, Surendra Praladhkar who also interacted with the students. Speakers for the seminar were Samita Veda Acharya (happiness coach) & Mrs. Varsha Bhujone (Secretary VKV School). A Debate was also organised among the students of these colleges after which prizes and certificates were distributed to all the students in which first prizes were baged by DBRAIT and Tagore College, the program came to an end followed by lunch. The event was conducted in the presence of Swami Shudhanand Chinmaya Mission, Mrs. Komal Anand Founder President Pankh, Geeta Naveen Bhat secretary Pankh and the members of the NGO.
