Port Blair, Jan 20: In a tragic road accident two Airforce Jawans died yesterday at VIP Road. According to sources both the Airforce Jawans, Mr. A K Prasad, Airman and Mr. Susmanth Singh, Airman were in a 220 CC Pulsar Bike, Punjab Registration, and were riding the bike without helmet.
Eyewitnesses say that because of over speed the person who was driving the bike lost control and hit the boundary wall of Guru Mandir at VIP Road. One Airforce Jawan died on the spot while the other died on the way to hospital. According to report, one of the Jawan was posted at prothrapur while the other was at Car Nicobar Air Base.
