Port Blair, Jan 20: The Lt Governor, Lt Gen (Retd) Bhopinder Singh, PVSM, AVSM has sanctioned ex-gratia relief of fifty thousand rupees from LG’s Relief Fund for the treatment of Mr. P. Korlaiah, 45 years, R/o Round Basti, Aberdeen Village, who is suffering from fracture neck of L Femur, requiring interval fixation of the fracture. Mr. Korlaiah is a fishermen and his income from all sources is approximately 12,000 rupees per annum.
Mr. Korlaiah has been referred to mainland for specialized treatment and based on the reports of Directorate of Health Services and Deputy Commissioner (South Andaman), the Lt. Governor has sanctioned the relief amount for his treatment at mainland.
