Port Blair, Sep 20: A delegation of A & N Islands Bhojpuri Samaj headed by Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman met Mr. Swatantra Dev Singh, Cabinet Minister of Water Resources, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh on 19.09.2023 and discussed a wide range of issues related to Welfare of Islanders.
The Minister has wholeheartedly agreed and assured that request of providing suitable number of seats for higher education especially in the field of Medical and Engineering Colleges of Uttar Pradesh for students belonging of Bhojpuri Samaj of A & N Islands will be considered and matter will be pursued with A & N Administration with utmost priority.
