Port Blair, Aug 20: With a vision to promote the game of chess and create a chess culture and community that enriches the lives of the islanders, Andaman Nicobar Chess Association (ANCA) in collaboration with PBMC initiated Free Chess classes for the children of Japan Road, Dairy Farm area today (20.08.2023) at Mini Function Hall, Japan Road, Dairy Farm.
Mr. Padmanabham, Junior Vice Chairperson, PBMC and Mr., Avinash Kumar Singh, SE, PBMC inaugurated the chess classes by making the ceremonial move on the chess board in presence of, B Eswar Rao, Ex, Chairperson, PBMC, Captain B Sarat Kumar & office bearers of Andaman Nicobar Chess Association.
The Chess training classes will be held weekly five days from Monday to Friday between 4.00 pm & 6.00 pm exclusively for the children of Japan Road, Dairy Farm area free of cost. For more details, one may contact the General Secretary, ANCA @94342933789 or email@anchessassociation@gmail.com.
To mark the birthday of Dr. Sanjay Kapoor, President, AICF, Andaman Nicobar Chess Association (ANCA) conducted Free Chess classes for the inmates of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram today (02.08.2023) in the Ashram premises and distributed new chess sets to the inmates of the Ashram.
