Port Blair, Jan 10: The staffs of the Port Blair Municipal Council have seized 14.600 kgs of plastic carry bags during the period from 31.12.2012 to 05.01.2013, which were being used by the shopkeepers for commercial purpose.
The commercial establishment owners are once again cautioned not to use the plastic carry bags for any purpose failing which action will be taken as per rules against such establishments.
