Port Blair, Jan 09: Smti. Ratna Kannan, Chairperson, A&N Social Welfare Board inaugurated the Awareness Generation Programme organized by the Malati Krishna Trust, R.K. Pur, Little Andaman at 10.00 am. More than 50 women attended the camp. Shri. Kalyan Mondal, Managing Director, Malati Krishna Trust welcomed the Chairperson by presenting bouquet.
The up-pradhan, Sub-Inspector of Police and representative from various departments were attended the programme. Smti. Ratna Kannan, Chariperson, A&N Social Welfare Board in her speech appealed the women folk to come forward and to take the schemes of the Social Welfare Board for organizing such programme for empowerment of women. Smti. S. Rani Pande, Secretary, A&N State Social Welfare Board also spoke on the occasion.
