Port Blair, June 28: To check the cleanliness and sanitation under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Mr. Naresh Chander Lal Padmashri Awardee and Ambassador Swachh Bharat Mission Andaman and Nicobar Islands visited the Govt. Secondary school Delanipur today and interacted with the students and teachers of the school and urged them to maintain cleanliness and sanitation at their school premises as well as to their respective societies.
Mr. Lal also requested the students not to waste water and try to find out natural sources of water and also rain harvesting to avoid any water crises in the islands in near future.
Mr. Lal urged the students also to keep away themselves from the ill effect of Alcoholism and of drugs too.
The Vice Principal of the School Mrs. Jyothi Jose Lakra and school Headmistress accompanied SBM Ambassador during the visit.
