Port Blair, Jan 06: The First Sub-Committee of Parliamentary Committee on Official Language conducted an Inspection meeting under the Chairmanship of Dr. Nirmal Khatri, Deputy Chairman of the Committee about the use of Official Language Hindi in the offices of Andaman and Nicobar Administration, Secretariat, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Panchvati, Middle Andaman, INS, Kardip, Kamorta and Sports Authority of India, Port Blair on 05-01-2013 in the Conference Hall of Megapode Resort, Port Blair. The other members of the Committee are Shri Rajendra Agarwal, M.P. (Lok Sabha), Shri Shivanand Tiwari, M.P. (Rajya Sabha), Shri Dinesh Chandra Yadav, M.P. (Lok Sabha), Shri. Ashok Argal, M.P. (Lok Sabha), Shri Gajanan D. Babar, M.P. (Lok Sabha), Shri Mahabal Mishra, M.P. (Lok Sabha), Dr. Y.P. Trivedi, M.P. (Rajya Sabha). The Committee is also accompanied by four Officers. After the meeting the Committee visited important places of tourism and historical importance in Port Blair. On completion of the three days visit the Committee will leave for mainland on 07-01-2013.
