Port Blair, June 01: Botanical Survey of India organized a special program to create awareness on use of “Natural Resources in our Daily Life” and save environment under the leadership of Regional Head & Joint Director, Dr. Lal Singh in various places of Islands Botanical Scientists interacted with public and school children and enlightened about the natural dyes, sources, uses and impact of synthetic chemical on human life, save electricity, save water, save environment etc. with an appeal to the general public to reduce the degradation of environment.
