Port Blair, Apr 23: All the Traders, Auto rickshaw owners/drivers and other concerned Govt./Semi Government Establishments of North & Middle Andaman have been informed that the Legal Metrology Officer along with a team of the Directorate of Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs shall camp at North & Middle Andaman to carry out the verification and stamping of e-Weighing & Measuring Instruments used in the said area.
The team will camp at Baratang on April 24, at Kadamtala on April 25, at Rangat from April 26 to 28, at Billiground on April 29, at Mayabunder on April 30 and at Diglipur from May 1 to 5, 2023. All concerned have been advised to produce their weighing & measuring instruments before the Legal Metrology Officer during the mentioned date to get it verified/calibrated & stamped as required under the Legal Metrology Act, 2009.
