Mayabunder, Mar 16: Former Pramukhof Mayabunder region, Mr. Abdul Siddique has raised several concerns regarding the well-being of the people of Mayabunder. In a letter addressed to the Dy. Commissioner of N&M Andaman in Mayabunder, he raised key issues, including the lack of maintenance and provision of internal connections for water supply at the Anganwadi center on Matches Company Road at Pokadera. Currently, the water being used for cooking is from the washroom of Anganwadi, which is a matter of serious concern.
Mr. Siddique also raised concerns about the poor mobile network and internet services inside Dr. R.P. Hospital, Mayabunder and in ward no-04, 05, 06, and Gadda Basti at Danapur ward no-02 under Pokadera Panchayat. The poor network connectivity in the area is hindering communication and access to medical services.
Finally, he requested the immediate repair of Neemtala road, which is regularly used as a shortcut road to the District Hospital. It is especially beneficial for patients, people of all sectors, and vehicles approaching Dr. R.P. Hospital, Mayabunder.
Mr. Abdul Siddique urged the authorities to intervene on the above matters at the earliest and give proper directions to the concerned departments to do all the necessary works for the benefit of the people of Mayabunder.
