Port Blair, Feb 22: Andaman Nicobar Rajya Karmachari Mahasangh (ANRKMS) and its affiliated different associations / unions have approached their respective Departments on several occasions for the grievances of the working class. The committee of ANRKMS and representation of all affiliated associations unanimously decided to organize a Public Meeting in Tiranga Park communicating the demands to the society and if any hard decisions have to be taken to press the demands of the working class, the society should be aware of it. All the affiliated associations and ANRKMs jointly conduct the Public Meeting on the following demands.
Regularise all DRMs of APWD, Regularise all Casual and DRM workers in PBMC, Grant of 1/30th to all DRMs working in A & N Administration, Basic Pay for delivering services such as Driver, ANM, Nursing Officer, Road Roller driver, Comp. Operator or Skilled worker etc. may be granted, Timely grant of MACP to all eligible employees, Timely grant of Promotion to all eligible feeder employees, if delayed, the date of promotion may be granted from the date of vacancy, Declare entire Union Territory as Hard Area for the local employees for sanctioning Hard Area Allowances, Providing Basic amenities to all Sanitary Sections of PBMC, Creation of posts for the extended wards at par with the earlier 18 wards in PBMC, Sanction 1/30th to all Part time employees of Education Department who are working more than 8 hours, Regularise all Contract Employees of ANIIMS, Grant of Bonus to all working class who were serving last three years continuously in A & N Administration, Coining of Regularisation Scheme duly submitted by Andaman Nicobar Rajya Karmachari Mahasangh with One Time Relaxation to all working DRMs, Implementation of OLD PENSION SCHEME to all employees who were appointed after 2004, Enhance honorarium of NHM employees with service guarantee as per the provisions of the scheme, Stop Privatisation in PBMC. Garbage & Conservancy charges of Sunday Market and Commercial area to be collected by PBMC, Conduct of work study of all departments for proper work allocation and creation of posts as per enhanced work and schemes, Promote Local Officers in Head of Department as per the existing Recruitment Rules, Establish Andaman Nicobar Service Cadre, Establish Joint Consultative Mechanism to redress the issues of Working Class, Coining Employees Charter for all services of working class and Fix equal Pay for all contract employees irrespective of same posts under A & N Administration.
ANRKMS has requested all employees to join the movement on 25th February 2023 at 03:00 pm for achieving the aspiring goal at Tiranga Park.
