Port Blair, Dec 18: Bajrang Dal under the aegis of VHP, A & N Islands organized a voluntary Blood Donation Camp on 18/12/2021 at Vivekanda Kendra Vidyalaya, Lambaline, Port Blair on the occasion of ongoing Gita Jayanti celebration and ShauryaDiwas. Gita Jayanti is celebrated all across the country by the VHP and Bajrang Dal by conducting various Seva Karya.
The Voluntary Blood Donation Camp was graced by Mr. Thyagarajan, Proprietor, Sunny Diesel. The Chief Guest explained the importance of donating blood and motivated the youths to donate frequently while appreciating the various seva karya undertaken by Vishwa Hindu Parishad. The programme started with dweepprajalan and pusphanjali to Bharat Mata and Swamy Vivekananda by the Chief Guest and senior dignitaries VHP, A&N Islands Mr. Ajay Goel and Mr. Dinesh Sharma. Mr. Anoop Gopinathan, Secretary, Port Blair Zilla, VHP elaborated upon the Gita Jayanti celebrations and the various seva karyas organized by the sanghatan.
The youths of Bajrang Dal actively participated and made a huge contribution. 51 units of blood were donated by the karyakarthas of various organizations. Mr. Amit Rai, Sayyanjok, Bajrang Dal concluded the programme with the vote of thanks.
