Port Blair, Dec. 09: A State Transport Service Bus that was on the way toMayabunder from Port Blair met with an accident today near Sabari School Rangatat around 05.30 PM.
As per information received here from a senior officer of STS,the reason behind the accident was the bad condition of the road.
According to updates the driver of this STS bus lost control over the bus near Sabri School while giving way to another ATR Bus of STS, which was coming from the opposite direction.
Thedriver of Bus reportedly suffered minor leg injury but luckily all other passengers weresafe. Later all passengers were shifted to other STS buses for onward journeys.
