Port Blair, Nov. 15:The CRC- A&N Islands in collaboration with Tourism Association of Andaman & Nicobar (TAAN) and BRW Entertainments organised a gala evening for the Divyangjans of CRC- A&N Islands on the occasion of ‘Children’s Day’ yesterday in the auditorium of CRC- A&N Islands, Brookshabad. Shri Pankaj Kumar, IAS, Secretary (IT/Agri/E&F) was the chief guest on this occasion. Shri H. Manoj, General Manager of NABARD was the guest of honour.
Divyang children from every nook and corner of South Andaman attended the programme. Parents, attenders and care takers of Divyangjans enjoyed the songs, dance and fancy-dress competitions presented by the children. Students from Psychology Department of ANCOL also attended the programme.
In his address, the chief guest boosted the confidence of the children with special need and their parents for participating in such programme. He also lauded the efforts of the staff of CRC- A&N Islands and TAAN and BRW Entertainments for organizing the programme in a grand way.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri H. Manoj, General Manager of NABARD, highlighted the importance of organizing such a wonderful event for the entertainment of the Divyangjans.
