Port Blair, Nov 14: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), A&N Islands organized a student’s“AbhyasVarg 2022-23” at Seva Bharti, Port Blair to enlighten the ABVPkaryakartas and students from different colleges towards the vision andmission of the ABVP in reclaiming India’s glory.
The Chief Guest of the occasion Swamy ShuddhanandaSaraswati, Acharya,Chinmaya Mission inaugurated the students AbhyasVarg by lightening thelamp. Addressing the gathering he advised the students that Character isthe most important aspects of the personality and one should keep itintact. Further he said that students are the nation builders and need to beaware of their rights and duties.
Swamy gave his blessings and said India’s golden era of the educationsystem is well known throughout the world. Our educational system not onlyempowers the people at large but also provides holistic development for thepeople.
Dr. H. K. Sharma, Principal, JNRM emphasized the selfless sacrifices madeby the Martyrs of our freedom struggle and appealed to the ‘ABVPKARYAKARTAS’ to derive inspiration from their supreme contribution for thetrue freedom of India.
Dr. Santosh Kumar Jha, President, ABVP, A&N Islands enumerated theactivities undertaken by the ABVP for the last two decades in theseIslands. He told that ABVP is continuously demanding a Central Universityfor the development of these Islands.
Dr. Kandimuthu, VibhagPramukh, NEC member and Special Invitee, called uponthe ABVP workers to work tirelessly towards nation-building to achieve theidea of a new and robust India.
Dr. K. Venkatesan, vibhagUpadhyaksh,ABVP, A&N Islands encouraged the ABVP workers to carry forward the workinitiated by the founding members of ABVP in these Islands.
In the culmination of the function, the ABVP karyakartas formed the Collegeunits in TGCE, JNRM, ANCOL and ALC. The President, Secretary, jointsecretary and convener were elected at the AbhyasVarg for each collegeunit of ANI. Ms. Seema Kumari, Secretary , ABVP and Mr. U.ParthaSarathi,NEC member, ABVP and Mr. M David Raj, State Media Convener, ABVP hosted theAbhyasVarg and carried out various sessions for Students.
Mr. Tejinder Singh, City President, ABVP and Mr. Rajesh Rao, CitySecretary, ABVP was felicitated. The entire event was coordinated by Mr. MDavid Raj, State Media Convener ABVP, Mr. Siddhanth Rai Sharma, State jointSecretary ABVP, U.ParthaSarathi, NEC member ABVP and Dr. K.
