Port Blair, Dec 11: An exhibition of paintings by the participants of ten-day “Srijan-Artist Camp” organized by the Directorate of Art & Culture, A&N Administration in collaboration with Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre, GoI, will be inaugurated by Smt. Rina Ray, Pr. Secretary (Edn. & Health), A&N Administration on 12th December 2012 at 5.30 p.m in Andaman Club.
During the ten day camp which began on 3rd December 2012, the participants have prepared paintings on themes related to ‘Freedom Movement’ and ‘heritage’. Mr. D.B. Biswas, Mr. Sujit Kumar Roy, Mr. S.N. Sreeprakash, Mr. Mohan Rao, Mr. Mahananda Gomasta, Mr. Unni Pillai, Smt. Kavita Chaturvedi, Smt. T. Parmila, Mr. T. Parmeshwar Rao, Mr. Jai Prakash are taking part in the camp. These paintings will remain open for the public during 12th -14th December 2012 from 4 p.m to 7.00 p.m in the Andaman Club.
