Port Blair, Nov 03: Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) Ships, RSS Stalwart (a Formidable class Frigate) and RSS Vigilance (a Victory Class Corvette) took part in 29th Edition of Singapore-India Bilateral Exercise (SIMBEX-22) from 26 to 30 Oct 22 off-Visakhapatnam. During their return passage to Singapore, the ships undertook port visit at Port Blair. The Senior Officer of the task group LTC Eric Goh called on Rear Admiral Dalbir Singh Gujral, NM, Chief of Staff (COS) at Headquarters, Andaman & Nicobar Command. The teams from Singapore and Naval Component of ANC, held professional interactions including reciprocal ship visit. Issues of mutual significance were discussed during the meetings which were aimed at enhancing interoperability and greater commitment towards maritime security in the Indian Ocean Region (IOR).
