Port Blair, Sept 25:As per the directions of the Election Commission of India, the Collection of Aadhaar data from electors on voluntary basis for linking and authentication of Electoral Rolls data is being carried out in Andaman & Nicobar Islands Parliamentary Constituency.
A time bound drive has already started from 01.08.2022 for collection of Aadhaar number of the existing electors. To further strengthen the efforts, this Department will be organizing a Special Camp for linking of Voter ID Card with Aadhaar card from 9 am to 5 pm at all Polling Stations on 25.09.2022.
The CEO requested to all electors of Andaman & Nicobar Islands Parliamentary Constituency to link their Aadhaar number to Electoral Roll data to strengthen the election system and enable the Election Machinery to conduct free, fair and transparent election in A&N Islands.
