Port Blair, Sept 25: In a small event Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi with Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association (Tatrakshika) distributed Health & Ration kits to 15 Single Mothers.
Mrs Anju Sharma, President Tatrakshika along with Mrs Jyoti Khariyal , Outreach Coordinator , Tatrakshika took an initiative to help single mother of the islands and contacted Mr Mandeep Grewal, President, PBGKR. All single mothers were handed over a month long Ration along with Health drinks and other items.
Mr Grewal thanked Mrs Anju Sharma, President,Tatrakshika for taking a noble initiative and to think about the islanders and also briefed her the details about how hard had the pandemic had hit the islanders.
