Port Blair, Sept 25: On 24.09.2022, Miss V. K.Mariyam Bibi , ZPM, Bambooflat, Mr. A. Ummer, ZPM Wimberlygunj, Mr.i P. Ummer, ZPM Mannarghat and Mr. B. Laxmi Narayan, PSM Hopetown met Mr. Kishore Kshirsagar, IAS, Secretary (APWD/PMB) in his chamber and discussed some crucial issues viz improvement of road from Wimberlygunj to Wright Myo; Development of water supply project at Koila nallah, Mannarghat; C/o 50,000 litre capacity RCC water tank at Azad Nagar; C/o side drain from Bambooflat to Chunnabatta; Strengthening of Panighat jetty and immediate repair of passenger hall at Panighat jetty; Improvement of Panighat Dam and Development of sweet water lake project at Stewartgunj.
The Secretary gave a patient hearing and reportedly assured the delegation that all the above mentioned work will be taken up on top priority for the benefit of the public.
