Port Blair, Sept 25: In a major drug haul, on 23 Sept NDPS casewas registered in Aberdeen Police Station, in which a police team seized nearly 03.70 grams of Methamphetamine from one resident of Wandoor.According to reports the accused has been arrested in this regard.
As per information, a police team of Aberdeen Police Unit conducted checking on a person at Mazaar Pahad area and found one Polythene cover containing Methamphetamine. Immediately the Police team arrested the person under NDPS Act.
Methamphetamine is a powerful, highly addictive stimulant that affectsthe central nervous system. Also known as meth, blue, ice, andcrystal, among many other terms, it takes the form of a white, odourless, bitter-tasting crystalline powder that easily dissolves inwater or alcohol.
