Port Blair, Sept 20: The report of the alleged presence of Supernatural force in GB Pant Hospital and Cellular Jail has become the talk of the town over the last few days. According to the sources, in the last two days, some strange photos of an alleged supernatural entity in GB Pant Hospital and Cellular Jail have been circulated on social media posts.
The viral image is not only linking the name of G B Pant Hospital with a haunted place list but also triggering panic among patients and attendants, who come to G B Pant with serious health issues.
When Andaman Sheekha contacted a senior officer of GB Pant Hospital,it was informed that the staff did not encounter any such incident ever while on duty in the hospital and believed it to be a” fake “photo altogether.
The officer said that initially he also took it lightly but now the matter has become serious when some people are actually believing it to be true and getting panicked.
Some public are now hesitant to visit the hospital for treatment and several versions of these stories are now doing rounds in social media.
The Senior officer of Health Services informed that health workers work in every corner of G B Pant Hospital 24 X 7 and never such incidents have been reported.
“If these photos and stories continue to create widespread panic among the general public, then the department will inquire into the matter and lodge a police complaint against the person responsible”, the officer added.
