Port Blair, Sept. 14: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,97,436doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above so far. Similarly, 23,971beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years. 28, 495beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered both doses of vaccine. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 2,78,520.
A total of 3,448 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in A&N Islands while the beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 3,417 today. In South Andaman District,2,372beneficiaries were vaccinated,out of which, 3beneficiaries were above 18 years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at2341.
In North & Middle Andaman District,1076beneficiaries were administered precautionary dose of vaccine.
