Port Blair, Sept. 9: One COVID positive case has been detected today in A&N Islandsas oneincoming flight passenger who arrived here yesterday tested positive.Today, 11flights with 1781passengers arrived, out of which, 1618passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on101passengers and the reports are awaited.
During RAT conducted on 36 passengers bound for North & Middle Andaman at Ferrargunj, no positive case has been detected. At Phoenix Bay Jetty, 29passengers were tested with RAT, no positive case has been detected. RAT was conducted on 13passengers at Mohanpura Bus Terminus, nopositive case has been detected.
