Port Blair, Sept. 9: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,97,249doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above so far. Similarly, 23,955beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years. 28, 439beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered both doses of vaccine. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 2,64,597.
A total of 1,382 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in A&N Islands while the beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 1,338today. In South Andaman District,1,328 beneficiaries were vaccinated,out of which, 8beneficiaries were above 18 years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at1,285.
In North & Middle Andaman District,45 beneficiaries were administered precautionary dose of vaccine.
In Nicobar District,9beneficiaries were vaccinated,out of which, 1 beneficiarywas above 18 years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 8.
