Port Blair, Sept 02: Directors of Ration Rasheed Foundation Mr. MP Abdul Rasheed and Mr. Saikat Biswas called on Mr. Keshav Chandra, IAS, Chief Secretary, A&N Administration in his office on 31st August 2022.
During the meeting, Mr. Rasheed presented the Chief Secretary with various issues concerning the health and education sector in A&N Islands.
Mr. Rasheed requested the Chief Secretary to improve the infrastructure of G.B. Pant Hospital and also induct more specialist doctors into the DHS. He also appraised the CS about a Government Primary School being run in the remote Krishna Nagar village of Swaraj Dweep with the best facilities and utmost dedication of its teachers. The school recently made it to the news when Ration Rasheed visited the school and highlighted the sincere efforts of its teachers in the media.
The Chief Secretary reportedly gave a patient hearing to Mr. Rasheed and Mr. Saikat and assured all possible support to Ration Rasheed Foundation for its services for the islanders.
