Port Blair, Aug 24: After a weeklong tour of North Andaman, Diglipur Mr. Ajoy Bairagi, State President, BJP along with Mr. P. Shanna Rao, Vice President, BJP and Mr. Jyotirmay Bawali, State General Secretary had an interaction with Deputy Commissioner, N&M Andaman District on 23rd August 2022.
During the meeting, several issues raised by the people and party workers of Diglipur region were discussed. Some of the major issues were the Construction of the Bus Station at Diglipur Bazaar, Matter related to quarry auction, Solution to NH4 issues, Repair and maintenance of rural roads, Land registration issues including conversion and diversion, Earth Cutting and filling permits, Renovation of all the Dilapidated School buildings, providing Medical Equipment with required manpower and technicians and the Network Connectivity issues of entire Diglipur area were taken up with the Deputy Commissioner.
The meeting was very productive and the Deputy Commissioner assured to look into the matter in a time-bound manner to provide an early solution to all the problems faced by the villagers of the rural areas of Diglipur.
Mr. Ajoy Bairagi, State President personally extended heartfelt gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner for his benevolence and patient listening and for the assurance of early solutions.
