Cloudy weather with moderate rainfall is likely to occur during next five days in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The maximum temperature will be 30.2 to 31.6 °C with minimum temperature of 23.5 to 25.4 °C, whereas the maximum and minimum relative humidity is expected to be in the range of 80 to 82 % and 78 to 80 %, respectively in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Wind speed of 20.6 to 31.1 kmph is expected mostly from South Westerly direction.

For South Andaman (Blocks: Prothrapur, Little-Andaman and Ferrargunj)
• Remove weeds in rice field and apply neem coated urea @ 50 kg/ha at active tillering stage for better production.
• Sowing of leafy vegetables (Amaranthus and poi) can be done on raised beds of 30 cm height and 45-100cm width.
• Spray Dimethoate or Regent @ 2 ml/lit of water to control sucking pests in vegetables during rain free days.
• Give 20 gram of mineral mixture along with the regular feeding of cattles.
• Provide sufficient warmthness to piglets to reduce mortality using gunny bags or bulb (100 watt).
For North and Middle Andaman (Blocks: Rangat, Mayabunder and Diglipur)
