Port Blair, Aug 23: The President of Andaman & Nicobar Congress Committee, Shri. RangalalHalder has demanded the Education Department for the establishment of the Girls’ hostel, which has been established for the past two years in Rangat, North & Middle Andaman.
In his letter addressed to the Directorate of Education, A&N Administration, Mr. Halder said that the girl’s hostel in Rangat would become a centre medium, which will provide necessary Education facilities to the students living between Baratang to Diglipur, N&M Andaman.
He added that This Hostel would also provide Social Security to numerous Students reaching from far-flung remote areas of our Islands for getting an education in their respective schools.
He further mentioned that the beginning of Girls Hostel will ensure essential facilities such as accommodation facilities, reduction in Transportation expenses, and all other basic requirements which would strengthen the Education Sectors in our islands.
