Port Blair, Aug. 17: Thirteen positive cases have been detected today in A&N Islands, of which, 2 were from incoming flight passengers who arrived here yesterday. Today, 10 flights with 1340passengers arrived, out of which, 1176passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on124 passengers and the reports are awaited.
During RAT conducted on 14passengers bound for North & Middle Andaman at Ferrargunj, no positive case has been detected. At Phoenix Bay Jetty, 12passengers were tested with RAT, no positive case has been detected. RAT was conducted on 29passengers at Mohanpura Bus Terminus, no positive case has been detected.
