Port Blair, June 12: The Deputy Commissioner North and Middle Andaman along with Assistant Commissioner Headquarter, Revenue Officials today visited the Gram Panchayat Shivapuram. The Pradhan Gram Panchayat Shivapuram, Mr.Venkateswar Rao welcomed the Deputy Commissioner with a traditional shawl on his first visit to the Gram Panchayat.
The DC and his team along with PRIs (ward members) inspected the Common Facility Centre Industries Padmanabhapuram, Rural Road of PanchwatiJunction to JNV Panchawati under PMGSY ll, sliding area of P.M.A.Ysites and dilapidated bridge of T.V.Kulam. He reportedly assured to resolve the issues as soon as possible.
The Sarpanch of Shivapuram Gram Panchayat raised the issue of stray cattle and tagging of stray cattle.
