Residents of Kadamtala area of Middle Andaman complain that poor condition of the road stretch between Kadamtala Bazaar and Bhakta village road is causing inconvenience to road users. Residents of Kadamtalaare now requesting the A&N Administration to immediately repair the road.
Local villagers told Andaman Sheekha Daily that in the last two years, residents of the Kadamtala region have protested several times against miserable conditions of the said road.
They alleged that after every protest temporary potholes patching workswere carried out for name sake, which lasted hardly a month.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha, Mr. SubrataBasu, ZillaParishad Member of Kadamtalasaid that the people of Kadamtala are facing numerous problems due to pathetic conditions of the said road, especially during medical emergencies.
He alleged that inner roads of the region are not even in walking condition let alone the possibility of motor transportation.
