Port Blair, Apr 11: This is a matter of immense pride for Andaman and Nicobar Islands that Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, the Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands has been elected to serve as Member of the Central Advisory Committee for the National Cadet Corps subject to the provisions of the National Cadet Corps Act, 1948 and rules made there under
Along with the Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore has also been elected as Member of the Central Advisory Committee for the National Cadet Corps.
This is yet another feather in the cap of the Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The Central Advisory Committee (CAC) for NCC has been constituted under Section 12 of the National Cadet Corp Act, 1948 for the purpose of advising the Government on matters connected with the policy and administration of NCC.
Only two Members of Parliament are elected from the Lok Sabha as the Members of the Central Advisory Committee for the National Cadet Corps.
